JACKIE MWANZA
Ubuntu Museum
Founder & Workshop Leader
Zambian born Jackie Mwanza is a visual artist. She has exhibited her artwork in solo and group shows in the UK and Africa.
As an experienced art workshop facilitator she has lead workshops for the African & Caribbean Educational Department at the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) in London for over 12 years among other institutions including schools, youth clubs and adult education colleges.

She says, "Ubuntu Museum was born out of a need to share my experiences of being a black African female in Britain. There are too few stories and points of views of people of colour in Britain and the West generally, so I have created Ubuntu Museum to put out these stories. We hope to collaborate with and shine a light on people and organisations that believe in the opportunities for the growth of humanity that these new narratives can bring."
